Ø Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) mastery Ø SQL Server 2005/2008 administration skills Ø Strong grasp of WQL (WMI Query Language) and its use in building SCCM Queries & Collections (example: understanding of the difference and importance of a sub-select NOT statement) Ø Strong knowledge regarding the contents and meaning of the entries found in SCCM Site Server Logs. Ø Strong knowledge regarding the contents and meaning of the entries found in the SCCM Client Logs Ø Experience working with SCCM Site Maintenance tasks Ø Experience updating systems using the Software Updates feature in SCCM Ø Operating System Deployment (OSD) experience Ø Extensive experience with Package Creation & Advertising (including ramifications of the various options that are available) Ø Able to differentiate between Delete and Delete Special Ø Experience moving Primary Site Servers to alternative hardware (Disaster Recovery) Ø Can differentiate between Local and Roaming Boundaries in SCCM Ø Can differentiate between Local and Remote Roaming Ø Can differentiate between Global and Regional Roaming Ø Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft BITS Ø Demonstrable knowledge of SCCM Site Server Roles: SLP, MP, DP, RP, SMP, HVP, etc. Ø Can differentiate between Resource Classes: System, USER, User Group Support Requirements Ø All verbal and written communications relating to SCCM Support will be in English.
