Providing application support for business critical applications, troubleshooting and resolving application issues. Working with engineering team to troubleshoot complex application issues, participate in planning & deploying new application releases. Installing Security patches to servers & performing password reset for service accounts. Renewing SSL certificate, website configuration and troubleshooting. Work on project tasks such as building new servers, server migration, upgrading to latest windows OS and upgrading IPAK level on servers, SQL upgrade, IIS installation & configuration. Troubleshooting basic network related issues and escalating to networking team and working towards resolution. Providing analysis and troubleshooting for Windows, IIS & network related issues. Use incident management tools such as SCSM for Server Request (SR) tracking of open, in-process, and closed issues.
*Skills: *6+ years of experience with Administration of SQL Server 2008, backup, recovery, Replication, Log shipping, Clustering, performance tuning, migration & security management. Ability to write custom stored procedures for automation purposes. Windows Server 2008: Windows administration & troubleshooting skills required.
