Please find the requirement details below. *Position: Network Engineer / Technical Specialist (L3) Location: Milwaukee, WI Duration: 6 - 8 Months (Contract) Rate: Negotiable* *Scope: * Network & Security Management * Experience: * 5-7 Years of relevant IT Experience At least 4 years of Network Operations experience *Basic Qualification:* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Diploma *Certifications:* CCNP CCSE *Availability:* Willingness to work in Shifts On call support during off hrs if required *Network Operations - Service Deliverable * The service consists of monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and system administration services for voice and/or data networks. Networking devices components and parameters are monitored on a proactive basis. Telecom links are managed in addition to the devices through coordination with various telecom vendors. *Roles & Responsibilities:* The purpose of this role is to provide technical support in order to ensure a high degree of Customer Satisfaction through SLA & Process Compliance. The emphasis would be on skills like Proactive Metrics and Improvement Excellent Technical Solution Engineering Customer sensitivity and Rapid Response Proactive and Clear Communication Quality & Process Compliance *Technology Knowledge Areas*: Layer 2 - 3 Switching & Routing WAN Topologies and Equipments Firewalls, VPN, IDS & IPS Proxy *Technology Experience:* Hands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of Cisco 6500/5500/4000 series & below and Checkpoint/Nokia firewalls Hands-on experience in implementation, troubleshooting & administration of Cisco Routers (OSPF, BGP, Route Distribution) Capacity Planning & Performance Management related Engineering design capability Telco Understanding & Problem resolution management Performance Management & Optimization *Soft Skills:* Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Excellent Analytical & Virtual troubleshooting skills *Desirable* CCIE ITIL/Process Exposure *Background Check Requirement:* Includes VERIFICATION of employment, personal background, professional standing, work history and qualifications.
