We have an immediate Position with our client to be based at Los Angeles, CA Location:- LA CA, Position Type:- Contract Rate:- Open No of Positions:- 4 The client has specified they are really looking for someone who's skilled in QNX - this is an operating system primarily used in Blackberry mobile phones. Should be able to demonstrate a background knowledge or preferably functional competence in the following areas: * Software development of embedded systems. * Development of code in C, C++ and assembler. Linux, Windows or QNX. * Using of code generation tools such as MathWorks' MatLab or other UML based tools. * Testing methodologies: Unit Testing(Black box, White box), System Integration Testing Character traits and related responsibility: * Works with all levels of management, including top management. * Must display ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and negotiate and execute contingency plans. * Must be able to accept personal responsibility and accountability for major analytical and planning assignments. * Communicates directly with management and cross-functional leaders as required. * Strong teamwork skills. Able to develop consensus and move the program forward. Develop win-win situations. Required Qualifications: * Undergraduate bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. . 5-10 years of embedded software development in Windows Embedded, Linux, QNX or other real time software systems.
