*SQL Server DBA Responsibilities: *Quickly respond to performance issues using 6+ years of SQL Server DBA experience with Microsoft or other trouble shooting tools. Perform database administration tasks for new and existing tables, including back up, replication, restore and security. Assist developers with their SSIS packages and queries. Mentor junior DBAs. *Other Responsibilities: *Implement DB2 Connect in DB2 z/OS. Experience using the load utility to load data into a DB2 database. Stored Procedures. Database Administration : both DB2 z/OS and SQL Server (establish databases, backup, restore, scheduling, etc.) Security : both DB2 z/OS and SQL Server (defining roles and users). Performance Analysis: both DB2 z/OS and SQL Server (defining performance metrics, profiling / monitoring). Data Migration: both DB2 z/OS and SQL Server(availability considerations, security considerations) Query Analysis: both DB2 z/OS and SQL Server (execution plan analysis, I/O stats, index tuning) Replication SSIS Packages Clustered vs. non Clustered environments SQL Server migration experience from 2005 to 2008 Thanks for contacting!
