Necessary Skills : . Minimum 4+ years of exp in UI development. . Overall 5+ year exp. . Knowledge of Agile methodology. . Good communication skills. . Excellent presentation skills & and attention to detail Desired Skills . Expert-level knowledge of Javascript and DOM scripting. . Expert-level knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, ExtJ, JQuery, YUI, DOJO and other similar UI libraries. . Expertise in cross browser/platform compatibility issues . Proven in the implementation of user interface models for standalone applications and web applications. . Experience in mobile web UI design and rich internet applications (RIA) is desirable. . Ability to work independently as well as with various size teams. Roles & Responsibilities : . Represent the "User Experience", translate customer requirements into defined specifications and work with the Engineering team to develop the right product. . Develop and maintain the UI portion of software product interface by working with Information architect, UI designer, product management, business analyst, software developers, and architects. . Work closely with designer to implement user experience. . Work with development team using Agile development methodology. Generic Managerial Skills : . Able to plan/track tasks/activities Education : BS in computer science, advanced degree in human-computer interaction, human factors, or related field preferred.
