*Senior .NET Programmer Analyst* *Location: Washington, DC* *Position type: Contract- To-Hire* *Rate: DoE* *Client: Truist* The role of the Senior Programmer Analyst is to provide full life cycle application support to existing applications as well as participate in the analysis, design, and development of new applications. This position requires development experience with technologies including ASP.NET, MVC (or Ruby on Rails), C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Ajax. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. *Primary Responsibilities *Provide hands on development support for both existing and new applications Work closely with a small team of developers Participate in the design of sophisticated system components Unit test code and work with QA team to test and fix system components Update and maintain system documentation *Qualifications:* To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
