We are looking for someone that would be able to work with the business, understand their needs, and communication the requirements to the technical staff. · Gathers and documents requirements for new releases (high level and then detailed business design), creates test cases and test plans, performs System Testing and assists Business users with User Acceptance Testing phase. · Acts as first line of support to research production system questions and issues to determine if there is a potential programming issue or not. · Is consulted by the business team when new contracting strategies or other new transactional processing needs come up. Performs Gap Analysis comparing high-level requirements to existing systems and documents a Proof of Concept utilizing existing systems and simple add-ons. · Creates business process, training, and user guide documentation for functionality that is identified as new or showing process problems. · Works with business users at all levels to define reporting needs. Documents report requirements and creates the initial queries to assist the report developer in design and development. · Works with the application vendor for packaged-based solutions to report and resolve system bugs and also to ensure patches and upgrade files are received appropriately. · Ensures that any new transactional processing will not negatively impact downstream and reporting systems. Communicates with support resources across systems to determine any impacts. · Monitors system processes and data in an effort to identify system issues and to ensure that processing is smooth. Identifies areas for process and automation improvements and designs solutions.
