Hi, Hope you are doing well… This is my direct-client opening for a *Hardware Engineer** SME- Washington DC.* This is 6 - 11 month contract – The hourly rate is DOE. Candidates must be SME level individuals with BS, 5 years SME level work, multiple certifications as related, and a current TS/SCI * Subject Matter Expert in hardware design and configuration management for operation and/or data center environments. Prefer individual with both Infrastructure and systems experience. * Hands-on technical knowledge and experience in the design, configuration and deployment of data center environments or the build-out of small to mid-sized operation centers * In-depth knowledge of hardware specifications and configuration management * Familiarity with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) standards and ability to comply with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and USSS security policy requirements * Proven experience in designing, integrating and securing large, complex data center environments * Advanced level, hands-on networking or telecommunications troubleshooting skills * Ability to gather, identify and translate customer requirements and develop potential solutions or recommendations for management decision * **Please fill out the following skills-matrix and send back with your response.
