The Hourly rate is DOE*. **Client is looking for local candidates due to F2F Interview after the initial phone Interview. Client will also accept the candidates who can attend the F2F Interview on their own expenses.* Complete Description: Primary Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test strategies/plans for specific areas of the product. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for thoroughly testing the User Interface (UI) of the product through all phases of the development cycle (collaborative unit testing, regression/integration testing and end-to-end testing). Candidate is also expected to assist with requirement specification development. Candidate will be required to produce comprehensive defect descriptions, identify the cause, scope and impact of a problem. As a member of the QA team, candidate will be expected to contribute to refining our Best Practices to ensure that the highest product quality is maintained for every release. Additionally, candidate will work with various cross functional teams to ensure issues are addressed quickly and with quality results. Communicating product readiness, level of quality, and results to the leadership and project team is mandatory. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent quality assurance experience. - Strong interpersonal, written, communication, and organizational skills are required to interact with customers and peers. - Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented environment. - Understanding of software testing methodologies (white and black box). - Experience creating test strategies/plans from functional specifications - Experience testing customer facing / UI features - Experience in the shrink-wrap software industry is desirable in addition to web-based software experience - Must be able to adapt to fast pace environment - Knowledge of SQL, Perl, XML, MS Office Suite, Test Director, and UNIX is preferred, but not required *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your response.
