Able to perform all these duties with minimal direction from senior staff. Function: The successful candidate will be given assignments within the Generation IT Systems Planning department. Primary role will be to provide augmentation to Business System Analysts in defining and specifying IT solutions from a technical perspective. The individual will: Work under the supervision and guidelines of the department Manager and will work closely in support of business process owners and all users of proposed or existing systems within technical area of expertise Will work within a 'matrix management' structure, where project leadership will come from a project manager. Work closely with the IT Development, Support, and Infrastructure teams on projects throughout the entire SDLC to ensure successful implementations (e.g., supportable, response time, scaleable, etc.) Provide input into the decision making process for the setting of architectural standards Participate in the preparation of estimates, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements in project or process.
