Description:
The BizTalk designer/developer is responsible for the design, development, and
unit testing of .NET and BizTalk components related to the Integration Bus.
BizTalk Designer/Developer Responsibilities
. Participate in design sessions and code reviews
. Create technical specification documents along with any supporting technical
diagrams
. Design & develop custom .NET assemblies to support the integration
requirements of the Integration Bus
. Design & develop custom BizTalk components
o Schemas
o Maps
o Pipeline components
o Orchestrations
o Custom scripted functoids
. Responsible for unit testing of all developed components
BizTalk Designer/Developer Skills
. Microsoft BizTalk 2006 (R2 preferred)
. Visual Studio 2005
. VB.NET or C# (.NET Framework 2.0)
. .NET Web Services (SOAP)
. SQL Server 2005
. XML
. Microsoft Visio
. Microsoft SharePoint
. Team Foundation Server
. Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
. Experience with source control & versioning
. Understanding of SDLC
