Title : Hyperion Essbase Oracle DRM
Duration : 3+months
Location : San Jose CA
Job Description & Required skills:
Installation of Oracle DRM 9.3 - 1.5 week
a. Installation of DRM / MS SQL Server / on Windows 2003 server with IIS
b. Installation of HAL
c. Installation of HFM / Essbase / Planning adaptors for HAL
d. Additonal DRM tool setup (setup of default system properties, values)
e. Integrate with Hyperion Shared Services
2. Export primary and shared hierarchy for Account into DRM - 1.5 week
a. Define source systems / cubes
b. Export HFM hierarchy
c. Export Essbase hierarchy
d. Export Planning (Vision) hierarchy
e. Export GL hierarchy
3. Create and consolidate the Account hierarchies into DRM - 3 weeks
a. Create version and load all parents/nodes/leafs into DRM
b. Merge down to single primary hierarchies per dimension
c. Create shared (alternate) hierarchies as necessary
d. Create global and local properties
e. Create derived properties
f. Create workflow properties (for approval purposes)
4. Define and create validation rules and filters - 1.5 week
a. Define validation rules
b. Create / test / run rules
5. Define and create DRM Exports - 1 weeks
a. HFM (incremental export)
b. Essbase (non-incremental)
c. Planning - Vision (non-incremental)
d. GL (incremental)
e. Consolidate exports to allow exports can be batched
6. Update external systems - 2 weeks
a. Develop HAL integration with Essbase / Planning and HFM
b. Integration with GL
c. Batch / schedule end-to-end process
7. Implementation Setup - 1.5 week
a. Security / roles setup
b. Unit testing
