Client is implementing a new BENEFIT system (NEEDS heavy Benefit exp)
Payroll (not a big plus; a lot more benefit
Other modules: self service, management and time reporting
The person must be hands-on SAP and have excellent communication skills.
Seeking an SAP HR/HCM Analyst to join our team. This role will report to SAP
HR/HCM Team Lead which is under the direction of the IT Director of
Applications.
Responsibilities:
. Accountable for maintaining and modifying all processes supporting the SAP
Human Capital Management (HCM) system including design, configuration, testing,
and deployment
. Provide technical and functional support to key HR processes, including
Compensation, Benefits, Org Management and Staffing
. Define requirements by analyzing business processes
. Act as primary a point of contact with HR business resources to gather,
refine, and prioritize business requirements
. Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the HR Department
to resolve issues
. Assist in the preparation of business process procedures, project plans,
requirements documentation, solution design, test plans, end-user documentation
and user manuals
. Create test scripts and perform unit testing of modifications and
enhancements to the SAP HCM modules and other HR technology applications.
. Design Implement and configure standard solutions based on best practices
. Participate on multiple SAP project implementation teams
. Analyze and assist with upgrades and service pack implementation
. Some travel to sites throughout the western US will be required
Job Requirements
Preferred experience should include deep familiarity with SAP HCM and HR
business best-practices. At minimum candidates should have the following
skills:
. 3-5 years of functional experience with SAP HCM including reporting in SAP
HR queries
. Proficiency in PA, BN, OM, PY, and ESS
. Possess a strong knowledge of HR technology and practices, system technical
architecture, office application products, database elements, database
relations and query concepts/report writing skills
. Experience with developing user documentation, test scripts, and other
technical writing abilities
. Must be able to create interpret non-technical user requests
. Must be strong in Microsoft Office (Excel), SAP Queries, and/or SQL coding
skills is a plus
. System documentation, procedure writing skills, familiarity with structured
change control procedures is desired highly desired
. Excellent project management, communication and training skills
. A minimum of a BS or BA Degree is required
. Preference will be given to candidates who are SAP certified
. No sponsorships or H1-B visas; must be a US citizen or hold a US Green Card
