Must have Experience in Agile/Scrum Environment Must have excellent Communication Skills because these people will deal with Client's Customers and all levels of the organization. Must be able to pass background check including drug screen, criminal history check and credit check for outstanding accounts. Job Function: Leverages database administration, development, and systems architecture skills to deliver on a wide range of technical and tactical responsibilities related to the design, development, implementation, and third tier support of database solutions. Successful delivery requires technical, communication, and organizational skills with a team oriented approach. Technical competencies include, but are not limited to: a.. logical and physical design; developing, documenting, and implementing code; performance tuning and optimization; developing and documenting maintenance requirements; authoring or contributing to the technical specifications; configuring and testing system wide variables including the operating system, security, etc.; providing level III technical support; for existing and new OLTP and reporting database applications. Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline, technical college, advanced technical certifications and / or equivalent work experience. Experience working with PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and SQL Server. Experience: Typically 3-8 years experience in software development, database administration, and/or systems architecture and support. Work equivalent experience in another relevant field. Demonstrated technical expertise and competence in: a.. ANSI SQL 92 Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 administration and development: a.. installing, configuring, monitoring, optimizing, and securing; b.. high availability solutions including clustering and fault tolerance; c.. design and management of databases including data files, filegroups, and data structures; d.. disaster recovery including backup, restore, and transaction logging; e.. Client programming including data types, data integrity, views, stored procedures, user defined functions, and triggers; f.. database application design, analysis, tuning, and optimization for queries, indexes, transactions, and locking issues; g.. ETL processes and applications using DTS; h.. SQL replication Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003 including a working knowledge of Active Directory Working knowledge of: a..
