UNIX System Administrator Minneapolis, MN
Contract Start: 1/12/2009 UNIX System Administrator. Must have extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux architecture and operations Description: * Provides expert technical support and consultation for operating systems and applications. * Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning, implementation, and upgrading of systems software and application software. * Participates in Stress Testing and performs analysis of the results. * Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems and application components. * Identifies and resolves complex systems problems. * Monitors and gathers performance statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. * After hours, weekend work and On-call rotation is required.
