Title :Specialists/Transition Engineers

Transition Engineers (TEs)are responsible for integrating and deploying the
customer developed web applications and third party solutions to the customer's
International Processing Center (IPC) Complex and other customer locations
globally.
The TE functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and development resource for
the UNIX or Intel Operating System (as appropriate) and environment.
And is responsible for:
* Providing technical leadership and represents his/her team on
assigned projects.
* Assessing new project requirements and sizing specific work
The TE will also:
Provides guidance for process, standards, and best practices.
Assist with solution design as required, both technical and
procedural, and will develop associated documentation.
Other requirements include:
* Must be organized and be able to work multiple tasks, work under
pressure with aggressive deadlines, and excel at time management
* Must have an intuitive ability to understand the larger picture for
their assigned projects and how all the pieces fit together

• Veritas File System (VxFS) 4.x

• Micropartitioning on Power5 (all models)
• Virtual I/O (VIO)
• HMC (Hardware Management Console)
• HACMP 5.x
• Supporting servers with EMC SAN and EMC Powerpath (AIX and Linux)
• Veritas Dynamic Multi-Path (DMP) (AIX and Linux)
