The rate is in the $35's and it is a 6 month temp to hire. * * * *General Characteristics * Ø Data feed analysis and support Ø Develops, maintains, and supports data for applications supporting organization's Internet/Intranet sites. Ø Documents components and applications. Ø Works closely with the team's developers, production support, database group, and business providing support and development. *Future** State**: * Ø Participate in the engineering of the future data feeds and MQ environment. Ø Communicate frequently with Application Development, Data Management, Information Security Department *Work Activities * Ø Day to day support of current data interfaces including batch jobs (Test, debug, maintain and refine the data interfaces between web application and corporate systems) Ø Data cleansing and transformation Ø Analyze functional business applications and design specifications. Ø Analyze existing data interfaces and data/databases. Ø Adhoc business requests including SQL and dba support Ø Assist in migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems to new applications and new technologies. *Skills * Ø Experience with the following: SQL Server, UDB/DB2 Ø Ability to perform moderately complex DBA tasks Ø Basic understanding web applications and Java, HTML, JSP, JDBC, etc... Ø Experience in the physical and logical design of database architecture Ø Basic understanding of MQ Series Ø Basic understanding of PCI-DSS Ø Strong written and verbal skills is a must *Education:* Ø Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. * * *Experience:* Ø Typically has 3 to 5 years of IT work experience * * *Complexity:* Ø Professional level role. Ø Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. Ø Works on small to large projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments.
