* * Client is looking for *ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT - PLANO, TEXAS.* This is a 6 months Contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE. * * *JOB TITLE: ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT* *DURATION: 6MO PLUS* *LOCATION: PLANO, TEXAS* * * *JOB DESCRIPTION:* The position as an individual IT Technical Architect performer which delivers key technical infrastructure components to FLNA. Strong communication skills are a plus to provide guidance and direction to the FLNA Business Team. • Responsible for architecture of IT technical areas across application network, server, database, application integration and virtualization technologies. • Experienced with integrating vendors commercial off the shelf (COTS) products into the GES solution. • Forms a working relationship with the FLNA Business Team. Viewed as an IT leader bringing innovative ideas and solutions to GES. • Partners with the FLNA Controls Architect lead. Together both architects drive a total IT and Controls solution for GES. • Experienced with preparing and presenting CTO and CIO level presentations. • Experienced with estimating software, labor and hardware costs across multiple IT Technical areas. Responsible for the architecture inputs that drive business impact and cost estimates. • Accountable for delivering the sizing of VM infrastructure and selection of the IT server and storage platform. • Responsible for reviewing other application team or vendor architectures, identifying risks with the application integration approach, tool choice, information security and sizing. • Defines strategy and implementation play for go-live. • Consults on production issues and driving root cause analysis and remediation. *Required:* • 3-5 years application development/deployment and architecture experience (J2EE App Servers, Web Servers, Single Sign-On, Java, C++). • 3-5 year’s application Integration experience (Tibco, JMS, ETL). • Experience within the last 3 years as a chief architect for a large scale, multi-million dollar program. • Experience within the last 3 years with application integration, capacity planning, architecture design for the deployment of Commercial Off the Shelf products. • 1-3 years experience developing/deploying applications and IT infrastructure in manufacturing plants. • 1-3 years of executive presentation creation for technical concepts that describe clear cost benefit analysis. • 10+ years IT experience, with 5 as a technical architect. *Required:* C++ ETL Java TIBCO JMS* * * * *Preferred: * • 1-3 years of Application Virtualization sizing and production deployment experience (VMWare ESX Server). • 1-3 years of experience in the full project life cycle that requires leading teams through architecture considerations for technology and infrastructure (Servers, Virtualization, Network (Wireless, LAN, WAN), Storage). • B.S.
