An ideal candidate would have experience in designing and developing a Business Object Universe on the BOXI platform. *Project Focus and Responsibilities* Primary resource for the technology team and data analysts to lead the development of a data warehouse that will support the reporting needs of the Learning organization and our clients. *Roles & Responsibilities:* Technical Competencies: • 5+ years experience in SQL Server 2005, 2008 and TSQL Data Warehouse design and development • Demonstrate an understanding of standard Data Warehouse architectures, principles and development. • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimension Modeling (required) • Experience in SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services (required) • Experience with MS SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio (Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services, Report Builder). • Ability to create innovative BI solutions, solve problems and work under pressure to meet deadlines within a dynamic environment. • Experience in creating and deploying complex reports and data models in SQL Server Reporting Services (required) • Experience in creating Business Objects Universe classes, subclasses, objects, conditions, joins and prompts (preferred) • Strong data analysis skills • Great communication skills to effectively work in a virtual team environment *Behavioral Competencies*: • Dedicated to meeting and exceeding customer expectations • Capable of managing time to meet goals • Adaptability and Open to Change • Take responsibility for quality and completeness of their work • Requires a Bachelor's degree and more than 8 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, and working with automated data warehouse systems experience or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • Experience in SQL, GQL, SAS, Business Objects, and OLAP preferred. • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and planning and organizational skills required. • Demonstrated ability to lead and plan complex, large-scale projects required. • Designing and developing a Data Warehouse in SQL Server 2008 • Designing and building dimensional models and data marts from Data Warehouses to support functional reporting and analysis • Developing OLAP service layers using SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services • Supporting the load, interfacing processes of the Data Warehouse, and investigating failures where appropriate • Conducting full regression testing of new releases to the Data Warehouse to ensure the integrity of the Data Warehouse • Collaborating with enterprise metrics team and data analysts in defining dimensions and measures • Collaborating with vendors to develop ETL processes to load data from external sources • Developing reporting solutions and data visualizations using MS Reporting Services, Business Objects and Xcelsius • Developing T-SQL procedures, scripts and code to create and manage internal database objects and processes • Experience in SQL, GQL, SAS, Business Objects, and OLAP preferred. • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and planning and organizational skills required. • Demonstrated ability to lead and plan complex, large-scale projects required*.* * * If you are interested with the above openings please send the below information ASAP *Email me a copy of your updated WORD formatted resume with the below details….* 1.
