Client is looking for a *Siebel Administrator consultant - St. Paul, MN* for a 6+ months contract. Description:** Experience with upgrading Siebel 7.7 to Siebel version 8.x. Candidate should have at least one upgrade project. At least 6 years of Siebel system administration including Server installation, maintenance, performance tuning, troubleshooting and production support experience. Experience with data migration and Siebel EIM is a plus. Experience with Siebel 7.7, 8.x implementations on Windows & AIX along with Oracle 10g and/or 11g database versions. Siebel Life Sciences and Siebel CTMS experience. Experience with BI Publisher, Actuate report server administration, workflow administration & Siebel Remote. Experience with Siebel multilingual implementations is a plus. UNIX & DOS scripting experience. IBM Web sphere MQ experience is a plus. Knowledge of Siebel High availability and Disaster Recovery architecture along with Siebel server hardware upgrades. Siebel application Performance tuning and troubleshooting experience. Provide assistance to planning, guiding, implementing Siebel upgrade from version 7.7 to Version 8.1. Provide run time support for multiple Siebel projects & implementations along with production support. Proactively monitors and identifies broader, more complex issues across multiple, integrated, connecting technologies. Provide consultation and subject matter expertise to the organization regarding technical systems. Responsible for ensuring application integration (end to end connectivity) with other Enterprise technologies and develop processes and procedures for operation and maintenance Determine migration and upgrade impacts. Diagnose and resolve complex technology/application errors. Participate in the strategy and development of architecture. Provision application servers and configurations in preparation of software releases. Diagnosis, analysis, and resolution of infrastructure defects where identified.
