The Cognos Specialist will manage a project that develops Business Intelligence, (BAO BI) scorecards and dashboards to monitor business performance, and/or Performance Management (PM) reporting solutions on the Cognos 8 Tools Suite. * *2. The Cognos Specialist will be responsible to assist the client to drive the requirement gathering process to develop and define functional report requirements. * *3. Assist in writing functional specifications based on user specifications, monitoring the project, reporting the project status, risk/issue management. Strong knowledge of development of reports using the Cognos 8 Tools suite is required. * *4. Assist in the customization and testing of the reports developed on the Cognos 8 Tools suite. * *5. Assist the client in managing the testing phase of the reports developed on the Cognos 8 Tools suite. * *6. Propose, analyze, and implement Cognos performance improvements as agreed upon with the client. * *7. Provide technical support and guidance on the Cognos 8 Tools suite. * *8.
