*Build and Integration Engineer*
Be a core part of our client’s development process by joining the team
responsible for building and integrating all of their operating systems and
applications.
We are looking for an energetic problem solver with CS engineering
experience / education, excellent verbal and written communication skills,
and a strong work ethic.
The candidate must possess the programming and debugging expertise to tackle
a variety of technical problems, as well as the communication skills to work
effectively with colleagues with varying technical backgrounds. Development
experience on Mac OS X or Unix is required.
*Specific Responsibilities Include:***
- Working with Apple development teams to configure their project code
base
- Performing software builds of Apple software products
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues
- Developing tools and processes to improve and automate workflow
- Working cross functionally with teams across Apple to ship products
*Required Experience:***
- BSCS, MSCS, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- iOS, Mac OS X, or Unix development experience
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Experience with SCM tools such as: Subversion, CVS, GIT
- Experience debugging makefiles
- Experience with compiling software, preferably the compilation of OS
- Knowledge of Perl and / or shell scripting for creating automation
tools
*Preferred Experience:***
- Experience developing software on iOS, Mac OS X, and Windows
- Experience working on large projects
- C, C++ or Objective C programming experience
- Familiarity with build systems
- Experience not just receiving code but also managing compilation errors
- Development and debugging of automation tools
