Qualifications/Skills: Client is in search of qualified System Administrators to provide 24/7/365 incident support. The team are part of cloud offering project efforts. The escalation manages 60+ Sharepoint farms with 2+ million seats under management, and 3000+ server objects spanned across the globe hosting and supporting some of the world’s largest enterprises. Client is hiring system administrators with core competencies in managing Sharepoint, SQL, IIS, Windows, Networking, and hardware. High level view the work resources are doing include real-time response to service outage and service restoration, perform root cause analysis and post incident analysis, research and identify known issues, manage escalation to higher tier in our group, and monitor/audit production environment for defects. The team is organized in three distinct pillars: 1) Sharepoint Escalation Pillar – where core duties aligned with competencies in troubleshooting production issues in web or .Net application technologies such as Sharepoint, IIS, .Net applications, and Web Services. 2) SQL Escalation Pillar – where core duties aligned with competencies in troubleshooting issues in SQL technology, such as maintenance, SQL agent jobs, backup/restore, performance troubleshooting, log-shipping, mirroring, T-SQL scripting for admin purpose, storage configuration, and network connectivity. 3) Infrastructure and Audit Pillar - where core duties aligned with competencies in troubleshooting issues in technologies such as hardware, Windows and all supporting infrastructure such as networking, and monitoring.
