We have immediate 6+months Contract Opportunity for Documentum
Developer for Carlsbad, CA. Any work authorization will work for the
same. Locals will be first preference.
Requirement
Title: Documentum Developer

Role Title: Documentum Developer
Brief Role Description: The candidate will be responsible for
developing and supporting Documentum 6.5 applications as a member of a
global IT organization. Specifically, the candidate is expected to
deliver, manage, or support off-the-shelf and custom developed
solutions written DFC,WDK,Taskspace,Captiva and its associated
technologies including Axis2 webservices, webMethods,Java,.net. In
addition, the candidate will be expected to resolve change requests
and trouble tickets for existing Documentum webtop ,Captiva solutions
and able to migrate data from different legacy data sources.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• To provide support – break/fix and enhancements of existing systems
• Proactive identification and resolution of problems and known errors
to minimize issues or outages
• Collaborate with business analysts in the development and initiation
of new software programs and applications where needed
• Research, document, and implement program requirements and
specifications
• Work with a variety of teams to define requirements for new enhancements
• To provide on-going support and administration of the Documentum
systems/applications.
• Write scripts to migrate data from different data sources to Documentum
Desired Experience Range
At least 5 years in Documentum webtop and DFC applications development
/ Data Migration and support experience
Technical - Required Skills
• The candidate must have in-depth knowledge in relevant technical
areas such as DFC,WDK,Taskspace, XCP,DQL,API,DFS with at least three
years of experience as a Documentum developer
• The candidate should have a solid understanding of web technologies.
In-depth knowledge in areas such as XML, XSLT,J2EE Concepts are
required.
• In addition, the candidate must have experience as a team member
participating in a cross-functional project. Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills are required
• Proven Analytical and Problem solving abilities
• Extensive database and operating systems experience
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment is essential
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Adopt at conducting research into software-related issues and products
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
• Strong written, oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Highly logical, self motivated and directed"
