*Position:* Java Security Apps Support
*Location:* Bloomington, IL
*Duration:* 6 months
*Significant duties and responsibilities for this assignment:
*1. Protect client’s data and resources from accidental or intentional
disclosure, modification and destruction by unauthorized personnel
2. Follow security/directory policies, strategies, guidelines, standards,
procedures, and problem methodology and Service Management
3. Provides enterprise risk assessment mechanisms and reporting
4. Interfaces with application owners to:
a. Understand their security/directory needs
b. Design, develop or recommend integrated security/directory solutions
c. Implement and support solutions
*List the qualifications/skills and experience/knowledge REQUIRED to perform
this job: *
1. Required skills include working experience with:
a) JAVA, JRA and J2EE
b) Linux platform
c) Unix platform
d) Apache/Tomcat configuration experience
2. Ability to work in a team environment
3. Ability to solve problems logically and systematically
4. Ability to easily adjust to changes in work assignments
5. Demonstrated customer service skills
6. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
7. Good written and oral communication skills including an ability to
explain complex concepts to others
8. Able to provide coverage for off-business hours and weekends as needed;
i.e. implementations, after hour service calls
*List the qualifications/skills and experience/knowledge desired to perform
this job:*
1. SANS Security Essentials (GSEC), Security +, or CISSP certification
desired
