Hi, I was facing the same issues a couple of weeks ago, this is how my
build file looks like:
libraryDependencies += "org.slf4j" % "slf4j-log4j12" % "1.7.7"
libraryDependencies += "com.typesafe.scala-logging" %%
"scala-logging-slf4j" % "2.1.2"
Add this to resources/log4j.properties in your src folder of your sbt based
project:
log4j.rootLogger=INFO,stdout
log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender
log4j.appender.stdout.Target=System.out
log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss} %-5p
%c{1}:%L - %m%n
log4j.appender.file=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.file.File=events.log
log4j.appender.file.MaxFileSize=100KB
log4j.appender.file.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.file.layout.ConversionPattern=%5p [%t] (%F:%L) - %m%n
log4j.logger.com.live-bar-app=INFO
If you don't need rolling logs delete the related entries and there you go.
