I did a similar thing, only I made mine a simple transform file that could be applied and then also silently copied the Alchemi.Executor.config.xml file via another method.

As someone else has had to do this as well, attached is the transform file I created, to save others the same headaches.

For those interested, this changes the MSI so that the custom action that ran the Alchemi.ExecutorServiceController.exe is not executed.

Would it be worth adding as an optional download? Or even a library of simple transforms created for other install options (not that I can think of any at the moment) and put into the SDK or a seperate zip file for download?
