There's actually been a semi-related discussion of this recently on the
Alchemi forums:

Basically the best way to do it is to create an EmbeddedFileDependency that
points to your exe and attach it to the manifest.
That is one way to do it, but then the exe gets attached to each thread as
its sent out. So each thread has a list of files that get written to the
same directory as the DLL that contains your GThread-derived class.
Incidentally, you'll get a lot of communication over the wire, especially if
your exe is large.
You could also deploy your custom exe to every node in the grid, so that it
doesn't need to be added as a dependency in the thread's manifest. That way
only your GThread-derived class in the DLL needs to be sent over the wire,
as long as it knows where to find your custom exe on every executor in the
grid. This brings up a whole new set of problems, more directly related to
how to deploy software to a number of computers.
