0.8? 1.0.6 is the latest one.

Some people have had problems with 1.0.6 and have said that 1.0.5 works
well.
But We are having some questions after reading the documentation ,Like ....

Any .NET compatible language (C#, VB.NET, etc) though C# is preferred.
2)Is there really java API are available?

There was a Java API available at one point, though I'm not sure if it has
been maintained. You mileage may vary, though I wouldn't expect anyone
currently on the Alchemi mailing lists to be able to help you. If anyone on
the list _does_ still use the Java API, correct me if I'm wrong.
3)How to install Alchemi on linux using MONO?
>
Mono isn't officially supported. Theoretically, since Alchemi is .NET
2.0compatible, it may run on Mono, but it has not been tested. I have
a
feeling that it would have problems, though.
4)Where and how to start to write applications?(IDE )

You'll need Visual Studio 2005. If you can get Visual Studio 2005
Professional through your workplace or university, that would work. Also,
Visual Studio 2005 Express is also available for free.

5)We have installed and configured Alchemi in our LAN but problem occured

You're going to need to give us some more information other than "problem
occurred".
Give us a step-by-step process of what you did, what you expected, and what
actually happened.
Then look in the log files for any errors or exceptions.
