Hi Anis,
I don't think it's possible to install Alchemi on anything but a Windows
machine. This is certainly not a supported scenario and I don't think
anyone on the Alchemi lists have done this.
If you like being extremely frustrated, you could possibly try getting the
Executor to run under Mono on Solaris, but again, I have no idea if this is
even possible.
Also, there may be some hard-coded paths (like C:\Program Files\Alchemi\
etc) which may be difficult to get around. Not sure on that.
The Manger would be a completely different story. Somehow you'd need to
figure out how to get a MSSQL db installed...
So, I certainly wouldn't recommend it.
