As for the 164 headlight story - both Euro Series 1 Elma H4 bulb headlights and Series 2 Facelift Bosch H1 dual bulb projector headlights are way better for seeing at night and in the fog than the USA spec Carello 9004 bulb headlight. Point of information all three types use halogen bulbs but only facelift Bosch units are both halogen and projector (low beam only). We are running all three versions on our daily drivers, daughter's 164B has Elma H4's, my B model has Bosch H1's and our back up drivers still equipped with USA spec Carellos with 9004 bulb.
