head.
* Your engine sounds like the GTV 2000 I'm doing right now. Good
compression, high oil consumption. Bet it has stock Borgo rings. You'll
want to measure the pistons, especially the ring grooves, for vertical
wear, and check the pistons for scuffing, evidence of broken rings or
burning, and check the liners for wear. Hone them before reuse. Measure
the crank journals too, and have someone experience look at the bearings
if you don't know how to read them.
* Not sure what you mean about the fuel dist casing being broken. Can
you elaborate?
