You need a thin-wall socket of the proper size (sorry, without looking in my toolbox I don't remember the size).

Once you get the nut off, you'll need a puller on the flange, and may need to heat the flange. (leave the nut on looseley do it doesn't fly across the garage).

Then you'll need to press the old bearing/support off and the new one on.

Now that i have your attention...I'm replacing the bearing and the holder on the tranny half of the propellor shaft. There isn't enough room between the bolt and the cup flange that connects the two pieces togather to get a socket on the nut. IA said they had no idea how to get the thing off. i already have the lock washer off. Has anyone an idea?
