Gentle Alfisti, I was too hasty in dismantling the electrical appurtenances in my 74 GTV. I need someone with a similar car to offer-up a bit of guidance. The issues are the relays. Can I get verification that the starter relay is mounted on the passenger side firewall? It's supposed to have three wires to it, a 12ga. red that's hot, a black 12ga that goes to the starter and a black and green that's shown on the wiring diagram to lead to the seatbelt interlock. I can not find this green and black wire. What is the seatbelt interlock? The horn relay is defying me as well. The red wire is hot, the purple wire goes to the horns and the trigger wire comes out of the steering box. When attempting to understand the relay function, a tester will reveal no conductivity to ground on the relay spade that receives the red wire, right? Normally the trigger wire goes in the middle spade, is this correct? If someone is willing to take some pics of their fender-mounted wiring arrangement so I can sort this mess out, I would be very grateful. There are three relays and the voltage regulator. The car is stock. Please e-mail directly.
