I have a '78 GTV (that's Sprint Veloce to you) for sale in San Jose, CA. I'm sorry to see it go, but I have to finally admit that I won't get to putting it back on the road. I took out the transaxle 15 years ago to fix the 2nd gear syncros, then needed to move house. I bolted it back together, put it on a flatbed, and haven't fixed it since. it was garaged for many years, but has been outside (in California weather) for the last 5.
* 1978 2.0 liter Alfetta GTV/Sprint Veloce (model 116), ivory paint * 120K miles * last driven in 95 * New valves & guides, new rings, bottom bearings at around 105K (in Worchester, MA) * Spica injection pump in good running condition when garaged. * Campanatura 45 alloy weels * KONI adjustable shocks * replaced donuts, center driveshaft bearing at ~90K * new fuel pump at ~90K * usual rust on rear deck, taillights. * sheet metal damage on passenger door from idiot in parking lot. Extras: * technical spec manual * SPICA adjustment manual This is clearly a car for parts or restoration. Don't expect it to run without some work. It will need to be towed out. Asking $1,200 -- Any serious offers entertained.
