I have come to the fount of Alfa knowledge to drink and learn. I am in need of door keys for a GTV6. I have removed both locks from the car in search of the 4 digit code from which I can order the special, dimpled keys. I cannot find the code anywhere. What am I missing? Of course, I have no owner's manual that might have the code written inside somewhere. Nor have I found an unaccounted for, four digit number anywhere else. The only place I know that can make proper dimpled keys will not dismantle the lock to make said key. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I will get the car back from the paint shop next week and will need to replace the door handles on the car then.
By the way, the car is looking really good. This is a windows out, all trim removed (even the gutter flashings), complete paint job and the shop seems to like having the car around as a conversation piece. This is the second Alfa they have ever seen (the first was my 75 Spider). They are mighty impressed by the quality of the metal and the workmanship in the cars.
