pinion nut is the slotted nut on the pinion shaft coming out off diff (going in to diff?)- where joins the yoke for drive shaft u-joints. different beast.
re bruce's question on gtv6/vs Milano ride characteristics..... lots of variables here - including memories. sidewalls might be an issue, but since he is coming off of a "performance" 205/50 to a street 195/60 not too likely and you would expect to see a little softening by going to a taller sidewall. if you are running koni reds - they are ancient and might very well have stiffened up. imho, the oem spica/boge sachs shocks are a pretty nice compromise of ride and handling. or maybe all our memories ain't what they used to be! andy -- to be removed from alfa, see http://www.digest.net/bin/digest-subs.cgi or email "unsubscribe alfa" to [email protected]
