In the SVN version of CLFS the option to compile the keymap into the kernel has been removed from both the boot and bootable chapters.
I'm almost sure that it will be removed soon also from CLFS-2 and HLFS, plus due that compiling the keymap into the kernel cause issues for some keymaps and language settings, I propose to full remove that option from jhalfs.
