*Title : Cisco Network Engineer Location : Ann Arbor, MI Duration : 6 months contract Rate : $40/Hr on C2c * They will do a phone interview and a lab test for interviews so they will need to be as local as possible! Required: Bachelor’s degree in a computer science related field or equivalent work experience. CCNP with at least 5 years of extensive experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco equipment. Very strong knowledge and experience with all layers of the OSI model. Thorough knowledge of the following: dot1q trunking, firewalls, redundancy protocols and technology, load balancing, routing (EIGRP and BGP), NAT, QoS, spanning-tree, VoIP traffic analysis, SNMP, TACACS, SSH, VPNs (including remote access) and proxy systems. Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Knowledge and experience working within a large enterprise network with 250+ locations preferred. Ability to work within project teams that include creating documentation for planning, implementation, and support as well as successfully competing tasks within a schedule. Capable of working independently or within a team environment and can prioritize and timely complete daily activities. Very strong troubleshooting skills that are capable of taking problems to full resolution.
