I have read that using the Chrom or Chromium browser to cast the prime
video to the Chromcast is possible if you don't want to buy an Amazon device. I
can't speak from experience, though, I don't use prime video. It may be worth
giving it a shot if you want to stick with your current equipment.

Now here’s a dumb question.
I use my Chromecast to stream Netflix to my Entertainment system and so on.
I’d like to use my video allowance I get with Amazon Prime membership so I’m
wondering if anyone is doing this and just how they’re going about the task.
Are you using a particular Amazon Fire TV unit or something similar?
