Hey Tom. Can you copy the error message? Do you know if it's coming from winamp, or actuallyc oming from windows? I'e never seen winamp throw such an error message. Have you tried reinstalling yet? It sounds from your message like maybe you have. What are your options in the dialogue box? You shouldn't' need to restart the computer just because of sucha n error message. Just kill the winamp task in task manager or using command prompt, and it'll be gone. Task manager is probably easiest if you're not used to command prompt. Just hit ctrl-shift-escape, find the winamp task in the list view, and hit delete. This is good for stopping any programmes that are causing trouble. A lot of other weird windows issues can just be rectified by re-starting file explorer. This isn't to do with your specific issue but it's a good thing to know.
