The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) would like to announce a series of three national outreach listening sessions that will focus on several Office of the Inspector General (OIG) released reports. The purpose of the calls is to educate providers and suppliers on specific vulnerabilities that exist in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Part A, Part B, and Home Health and Hospice settings related to the reports. CMS Contractor Medical Directors will identify common topics and themes along with identified billing errors seen to educate on ways provider and supplier behaviors can be changed to ensure full compliance with Medicare policy, billing instructions, and medical review guidance.
