The same problem has existed for some time on OOo 1.1.x as well. With OOo 1.1.4
on Windows XP, the language dictionary continues to come up as 'Danish' when
international English ('British English') is selected.
On a Debian system, OOo 1.9m69 also shows Danish when re-opening the dialogue
box after the international English dictionary has been selected in
Tools-Options-Languages-Writing Aids. Only 'US English' appears to be
supported.
A work-around is to quit both OpenOffice and the OOo quickstarter, then edit the
dictionary.lst file in OPENOFFICE/share/dict/ooo/ to remove the unwanted
languages. This would not be convenient for everyone.
