OK, this bug is focus related but has nothing to do with the shell stack. Well,
not directly, anyway. What happens is that after the scroll bar has been moved
the slide sorter gets the focus. Until recently (until issue 32465 was fixed)
this caused the focus indicator to be made visible. This included scrolling the
focused page into view. With the first page being the focused page by default
this lead to the observed behaviour.
The relevant part of the fix for issue 32465 is the change in
SlideSorterController.cxx revision 1.7.42.1 where the controller shows or hides
the focus indicator when the pane gets or loses the focus.
