invalid. IssueZilla is not the tool for general complaints.
Regarding the search: start with one searchterm. If you search for two words,
make sure you switch to "all words", don't use the case insensitive substring in
that case.
Just do a query for "performance" and you get an idea that there *is* progress
and there is work already done.
Unfortunately most of the improvements are not yet integrated.

BTW: MS-Office has a quickstarter as well, Mozilla has a quickstarter,
Realplayer installs itselft to the taskbar,...
