Broken because in OOo 2.0, this is now a CustomShape.
CL->SJ: The shape in question is a striped-right-arrow. If you create a new
document with such a custom shape and remove filling and line style you get the
same behaviour -> text is not selectable. Please check if this problem is with
other custom shapes too
Changed Target because this can be reproduced and may be a general error.
