------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 25 16:24:20 -0800 2005 ------- Hi, I'm trying to install OpenOffice 1.1.4 on a few Windows XP SP2 PCs. The installer crashes consistently on all these machines. What's special about these machines is that they're running French Windows XP but users (including administrator) have Greek or Korean names. The administrator account I'm trying to install from is "ÎÎÎÎÏÏÎÏ". Installer crashes at startup before I don't even get a chance to see the GUI. I worked around the problem by creating an administrator account "install". I perform a multi-user installation using "setup -net" from that account. That works. But then I have to go back to account "ÎÎÎÎÏÏÎÏ" or another account with a Korean name to setup OOo for these individual users. I try starting OOo but it crashes immediatly. I get a dialog from Windows with information about the crash.
