SBA:->hasekamp: For most users, the operating system locale, the Office UI and
the preferred document default language are the same. Those who write "mixed"
texts, have to get to learn how this works to get the desired results.
A single "English" word within a german text shall always be marked as a error.
What abour two words? Hmmm - I don't know how MS Office does it but "reading the
users mind" is something that MS Office does not offer either :-)
So iIf you type in several languages, you have to set the character attribute
"language" to get the desired proposals. This can be set ...
(1) via Format-Character, Tab "Font"
(2) via paragraph style (paragraph styles are a cool feature once you're used to
it! IMHO, they're the best proof that there IS a meaningful difference between a
word processor and an electric typewriter that reads minds :-)
(3) When Auto Spellcheck marks a word wrong but the lingu finds it being correct
in another language, then the context menu offers to set the "guessed" language
for that word or for the entire paragraph.
