------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jan 26 14:32:54 -0800 2005 ------- Hi , read on the crypto-mozilla mail-list. However, there is a technical problem at this point, which is that the database code used by NSS for managing cert and key files is not safe for writing if multiple process are accessing the database at once . So, presently, each application has to have its own security database. That's not particularly desirable . The fix can come only by someone contributing safe database code under the trilicense Mozilla MPL/GPL/LGPL . Nobody has been able to do that yet . Until that happens, NSS databases will only be shareable if all applications are opening them open read-only. I think peut - hap it is better to have choice between OOo Nss Databases and MS-Crypto on windows. And No choice on linux , but this choice is OOo Nss databases , not mozilla. Later when Nss database will be safe we woill the choice.
